As a window and door fitter, you will be responsible for fitting windows and doors on our buildings, ensuring they are installed to the highest standards and meet the design requirements and also to the tight timescales to meet deadlines, your role may include some other work helping out other departments when needed. You will play an important role in the success of our construction projects by using your technical skills and attention to detail to ensure the windows and doors are secure, functional, and visually appealing. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a dynamic environment and is passionate about construction.

Responsibilities

  • Measure and fit windows and doors according to specified requirements

  • Install windows and doors accurately, ensuring proper alignment and energy efficiency

  • Use tools and equipment required for window and door installation

  • Collaborate with other tradespeople, both on-site and off-site, to ensure smooth project execution

  • Maintain an organized and safe work environment

  • Meet quality standards and customer expectations

  • Keep records of work performed and materials used

    3+ years of experience as a window and door fitter

  • Proficient in window and door fitting techniques and tools

  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications

  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality standards

  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills

  • Knowledge of health and safety regulations and safe work practices

  • Excellent time management and prioritization skills
