Wheel Refurb Technician

Hippo Motor Group are looking for a Wheel Refurb Technician to join their fast-paced aftersales team in Corby. The successful candidate will ensure all wheels are stripped, sand blasted and refaced on our diamond-cutting machine. The position offers a full-time contract, excellent working conditions and the opportunity to earn over time, as well as work for a successful multimillion pound expanding family business.,

• Responsible for all aspects of re-facing alloy wheels on our Diamond Cutting machine.


• Remove and replace tyres.


• Wheel balancing


• Carry out all work effectively and within the advised repair time.


• Accurately record all details on the relevant job cards


• Ensure all work is carried out to a high standard.
  
  Previous experience in wheel refurbishment is essential.


• Proficiency in using a Diamond Cutting machine.


• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to high-quality work.


• Ability to work effectively under time constraints.


• Good record-keeping skills to ensure accurate job card entries.


• Strong teamwork and communication skills., Tyre fitting: 2 years (required)


• CNC Machining: 2 years (required)


• Alloy Wheel Refurb: 2 years (required)


Licence/Certification:

• Driving Licence (required)
