Target Cost Estimator

The role will be to assist in the delivery and governance of commercial services to the Milton Keynes Term Maintenance Contract in a manner that achieves both value for money for our client and sustainable shareholder value consistent with the contract, tender and agreed processes in the spirit of mutual trust and co-operation,

• Processing of Applications on Causeway.


• Processing early warnings and variations


• Processing of Subcontractor liabilities


• Processing of subcontractor applications for payment


• Carry out duties in line with all Company Procedures and Policies


• Ensure all work is carried out to correct specification / standard


• Use Action Reporting Procedure to plan and implement continuous improvements


• All work and operations to meet criteria of Environmental Policies


• To work in-line with the European Foundation of Quality Management (EFQM) Model


• Manage and promote the Groups IMS Processes "The Way We Work"


• To actively foster a positive staff morale

• Quantity Surveying qualification or working towards, experience and time served rather than formal qualifications will be considered.


• Understanding of cost management systems and ability to learn the Confirm Client Ordering system.


• An understanding of Term Maintenance Contracts.


• An understanding of the principles of measurement within the Highways Maintenance environment
