Full Job Description

Your role will be to promote life skills, independence, and education for individuals with complex needs. You will do this by assisting with personal care, trips out in the community and supporting with the transition into supported living.

This role will include managing behaviours that may challenge, therefore experience in this would be advantageous.

What we are looking for in the Specialist Support Worker:
We are looking for Specialist Support Workers that want to make a difference in the lives of 2 individuals transitioning from a community learning disability hospital to a state-of-the-art, specially adapted house in the community.

Our aim is to improve their quality of life and embed Positive Behaviour Support (PBS) within our culture, reducing restrictive practices and focusing on strengths-based approaches and want individuals who are of the same views.

  • Full UK Drivers License.

  • Experience working with behaviours that challenge.

  • Knowledge of PBS practises., GCSE or equivalent (preferred)


  • Experience:
  • Health Care: 1 year (preferred)


  • Licence/Certification:
  • Driving Licence (preferred)
