Software Developer (Mid-level Minimum)

Responsibilities: In your role as a Developer at CGS, your key responsibilities will involve the development of our cutting-edge ERP system designed for the needs of the traffic management industry.

This encompasses the enhancement and rewriting of existing code, adeptly implementing industry best practices, liaising with end-users, ensuring optimal system performance and actively contribute to the ongoing enhancement of our software architecture.

• Proven experience in PHP development.


• Strong expertise in either Laravel or Symfony frameworks.


• ERP & App Development Experience


• Solid understanding of software architecture.


• Experience in updating, re-writing, and optimising existing codebases.


• Previous experience in system transformation projects.


• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.


• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.


• Passion for writing clean, maintainable, and scalable code.


• Be currently based in the UK and reside within a reasonable commuting distance to Retford, Nottinghamshire, as the role is strictly office-based.
