Shift Supervisor

As a Shift Supervisor, your responsibilities will include…

• Managing all activities/processes on shifts with overall responsibility of the team


• Working to maximise efficiency and productivity of the production process


• Working closely with HSEQ with a big focus on hygiene, health & safety to ensure compliance


• Running the machines with the team, liaising with maintenance, engineering and technical


• Completing quality control and process control checks to ensure specs are met


• Reviewing risk assessments/safe systems of work to facilitate safe/best practice working.


• Performance management of the team; 1-2-1's, appraisals, training, and development.
  
  Are you a positive and proactive Shift Supervisor with strong communication skills?


What about experience working in the process or manufacturing industry?

Or do you have a qualification in IOSH or ILM?,
• Experience within manufacturing (paper mill, chemicals, paper converting, print, textiles)


• Experience working in a factory environment for a number of years.


• IOSH or an ILM qualification (ideally level 3) would be beneficial


• Leadership and management skills are preferred


• Compassionate, empathetic, nurturing, and patience with strong communications skills


• Previous experience working to shift patterns is helpful & happy to work nights/weekends
  
  In return, the successful Shift Supervisor will receive a salary of £46,500 to £51,500, plus the following benefits…
