Service Engineer

The Service Engineer/ Technician will diagnose, repair and service an extensive range of power tools within a workshop environment. Maintain records of customer repairs, services, and parts via the in-house IT system. We are looking for an energetic, organised, and professional person. Supporting the Senior Service Engineer and reporting to the Service Manager.,

• Servicing and repairing electrical tools


• Troubleshooting and testing the tool is fit for purpose


• Maintain and administer the internal IT system, recording repairs, service details and parts used daily


• Manage and prioritise your workload according to the company daily targets


• Support the senior engineer in the generation of ideas for increased productivity
  
  BTEC-Electric and Electronic Engineering qualification and or experience in servicing and repairing electrical equipment (Desirable)


• Needs to possess excellent troubleshooting and diagnostic skills


• Following training, be able to work without instruction and on your own initiative.


• Must have the ability to work under pressure

• Retain a positive and proactive work attitude


• Enthusiastic


• Team player, Electrical engineering: 1 year (preferred)


Language:

• English (preferred)


Licence/Certification:

This is a full time, permanent position for 37.5 hours per week. Initially this will be over 5 days Monday to Friday. After successfully completing 6 months probation, there may be the option to condense hours to a 4 day week Monday to Thursday.
