Full Job Description

The successful candidate will assist the Pharmacy System Manager and provide site-based support for a wide variety of Pharmacy systems, including the Welsh Hospital Pharmacy Stock Management System, Omnicell database and Automated Dispensing Cabinets and Pharmacy Robot Dispensing System, among others.
Candidates must be computer-literate and be able to quickly learn to use different computer systems and programs to undertake day-to-day tasks in an accurate and efficient manner.
Nevill Hall Hospital is a 200-bed hospital situated in the beautiful historic town of Abergavenny, close to the Brecon Beacons. We are a forward thinking and innovative department. Pharmacy enjoys excellent multidisciplinary links within the Health Board, and we deliver clinical services to a wide range of specialties and are committed to the professional development of our strong team., To assist the Pharmacy Systems Manager and work in tandem with the Pharmacy Systems Team representatives at other sites to ensure that all systems are optimised and managed in accordance with SOPs and a standardised approach across the health board is maintained.
To assist the Pharmacy Systems Manager in delivery of all systems-based improvements and optimisation.
To provide site-based support to the Nevill Hall Pharmacy team to assist in the procurement and supply of medicines to all areas served by the department.

We have a vacancy for a Band 4 Senior Pharmacy Assistant to join our expanding Pharmacy Systems Team at Nevill Hall Hospital. We are looking for an ambitious, conscientious, and adaptable individual with excellent interpersonal, analytical and communication skills to join the already established team., The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply.
