Full Job Description

To assist the Chief Commercial Officer, Jersey and the Jersey cluster with administrative support and ongoing oversight of all commercial activities including but not limited to business development and sales action plans and campaigns.

The role will support the cluster's broader commercial strategy from an operational point of view and will be conducive to monitoring the ongoing execution of relevant commercial deliverables as well as local marketing, thought leadership and brand-awareness campaigns. The role will work closely with the Chief Commercial Officer for Jersey and other stakeholders across all key segments and will also closely interact and collaborate with the Group marketing team.

Tasks:

  • Provide administrative support to the Chief Commercial Officer, Jersey

  • Create and maintain and regularly validate accurate data reports

  • Monitor and provide regular updates to the Chief Commercial Officer on all commercial activities and progress in relation to new opportunities

  • Regular reporting to various Boards and stakeholders, including preparing and presenting commercial reporting

  • Work proactively and collaboratively with both local and Group colleagues, developing and maintaining effective working relationships

  • Attend and take notes and actions at meetings commercial and other relevant meetings and forums

  • Be knowledgeable about business activities, products and services

  • Proactively participate on new business pitches and leading on non-complex proposals

  • Co-leading local RFPs, together with Jersey CCO and other stakeholders

  • accountable for the pipeline management ensuring data is accurate and up to date.

  • Liaise with Group Marketing regarding collateral, sponsorship of events and social media activity and generally being a lead on any local marketing activity

  • Responsible, together with the Jersey CCO, for cluster marketing strategy and budget

    Knowledge of the Finance Industry in Jersey

  • Previous experience working in financial services in a support role

  • Ability to prioritise and multi-task

  • Able to work under pressure and within tight deadlines

  • Good analytical and numerical skills

  • Excellent administration skills

  • Excellent organisational skills

  • Working knowledge of Microsoft packages including Excel, Outlook, Powerpoint and Word

  • Attention to detail

  • Ability to demonstrate effective verbal and written communication skills
