KS4 Science Teacher MPS UPR SEN1

Fixed Term for one year (maternity leave cover)

Required for September 2024

The Link School delivers full time alternative education to learners across the City of Sunderland. We are seeking to appoint a dynamic, visionary practitioner to deliver high quality teaching at KS4. We currently deliver English, Reading, Maths, Science, ICT, Citizenship, PSHE, and Vocational Skills as part of our core curriculum.

As a Science Teacher, you will be joining an experienced and supportive school that has a real drive to see our pupils thrive and feel prepared for adult life. You will have small classes which will enable you to personalise the learning for the pupils you teach, delivering Science Qualifications across the school to GCSE level.

Are you an effective practitioner with a proven track record of improving outcomes for learners? Are you a teacher who can work with, and get the best from learners, who others find difficult or challenging? Would you enjoy working within a team where you will help learners find their confidence and rediscover their love of learning?
