Full Job Description

You will be part of the Digital Marketing Team, which sits in the Digital Communications and Product team in Corporate Affairs. You will report to the Digital Marketing Lead.
The Digital Communications and Product team is responsible for producing digital content, continuous improvement of our digital products and channels and executing digital marketing campaigns.
This supports the Corporate Affairs mission of building trust, reputation and influence with key audiences to advance Wellcome's vision and ambitions.
What will I be doing?
This role will be responsible for maintenance and development of Wellcome's CRM on Salesforce, as well as providing system support for our Salesforce applications (including CRM, Funding, Contracts, and Funding Finance) as part of our internal Salesforce matrix team. We encourage applications from candidates with CRM experience that isn't Salesforce: we are keen to invest in upskilling the right candidate e.g. through Salesforce training / Salesforce certification. We are also happy to consider a part-time working pattern for the right candidate.
As a Salesforce System Admin, you will:

  • Be a key point of contact for Salesforce / CRM advice and expert knowledge at Wellcome

  • Support Wellcome's digital marketing activity as a CRM professional

  • Support teams across Wellcome in their use of CRM and help carry forward a culture of active CRM use at Wellcome.

  • Work closely with technical staff and external partners, and the wider Salesforce matrix team at Wellcome

  • Contribute to a diverse and inclusive culture across the organisation, collaborating across departments.

    Demonstrable knowledge of a CRM system and its administration

  • Experience of running and managing data to support communications and marketing activity

  • Experience of analysing data and writing reports

  • Working knowledge of the principles of GDPR and how it relates to the storage, retention and use of personal data
