Full Job Description

Mick George Limited have over 45 sites and our head office based in Huntingdon, Supplying Skips, Tippers and Aggregates and a variety of office roles from Finance, to customer services, sales to administrative. They are currently looking for a Sales Administrator apprentice to join and learn within their team.

The role will heavily rely on a positive, customer service focused individual who thrives in fast paced environment. Day to day involvement with Sales Operations Director, Sales Executives, Sales Support Team and most importantly our customers. Ensuring the customer has the ultimate experience where they can, with various administrative tasks from taking and booking on orders, managing enquiries, helping with invoice queries, tickets requests, portal use, reports, inboxes, raising purchase orders etc.

The Sales Department is made up of passionate individuals who all have a big role to play in ensuring we are connecting with all customers, getting enquiries in, quotes out and converting to orders. Multi-tasking is key skill needed to ensure work is prioritised and tasks are completed to a high standard. Although members work independently through their tasks, we ensure communication is to a high level to ensure the greater team can support as and when needed.

This role will involve direct interaction with the following teams at Mick George:

  • Directors of Sales & Marketing

  • Sales Executives

  • Internal Sales

  • Sales Support

  • Credit Control

  • Transport Department

  • Technical Waste

    GCSE or equivalent English (Grade 4-9) - Essential

  • GCSE or equivalent Maths (Grade 4-9) - Essential


  • Training to be provided
  • The learner will be studying the Business Administrator Level 3 Apprenticeship Standard qualification.

  • Functional skills will be studied if equivalent qualifications are not held.
