Retail Assisstant

General Duties:

- Offer face to face advice to customers on Honister Slate Products

- Provide a high level of customer service at point of sale

- Greet and answer any queries from customers - where required refer to other members of staff as and when necessary

- Pricing of shop merchandise

- Provide a high standard of housekeeping in the shop

- Maintain and replenishment of stock as required.

- Assist Customers with made to order products like house signs

- Answer telephone calls

- Liaise with Mine Tour Guides and Tour Guests

- Position includes weekend and bank holiday work

- Be familiar with stock take and barcoding of products.

Due to the location of Honister you must have access to a vehicle. The personal skills that are required for the job: having a friendly an engaging personality. Comfortable working with members of the public. Should have a confident manner. Must be helpful and polite. Be reasonable physically fit as they will be on their feet for most of the day.
