Resources Technician (Design & Technology)

Starting in July, we are looking to recruit a Design and Technology Resources Technician. The ideal candidate will be experienced in providing technical advice and support to staff and students. You will liaise with the department to prepare materials and equipment for practical lessons, provide assistance and guidance to students and help instill safe working practices. Your role in ensuring general maintenance is carried out, resources are ordered and checked and that safety legislation is adhered to, is paramount to the efficient and effective running of our department. You will have a genuine interest in working with children and have the skills to motivate and engage students.

The ability to carry out general maintenance of workshop equipment

- Good IT skills, including Microsoft suite of programmes and use of computer controlled equipment, including Laser-cutter, 3D Printers & CNC router.

- GCSE grade C in Maths or English or equivalent
