Full Job Description

The Council is recruiting for a Resident Liaison Officer. The post is fixed-term for 12 months to cover for maternity leave.

This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a new team focused on delivering excellent customer services within the Repairs and Investment section of Landlord Services.

The role involves facilitating the in-house and contracted delivery of repairs and planned works in tenants' homes. You will use your exceptional communication skills to proactively prevent, investigate, manage and resolve issues and complaints raised by residents and provide tailored support to those requiring, expecting, receiving or affected by works.

We are looking for a passionate individual who is customer focused, a team player and wants help improve our local communities in Charnwood., Our ideal candidate will have excellent organisational skills, be computer literate, work well within a team of like-minded individuals, and be able to manage challenging situations and complex caseloads effectively.

You should have GCSEs or equivalent in Maths and English and a driving licence and access to a vehicle to travel throughout the Borough is required.
