Calling all compassionate and dedicated individuals! Mencap is seeking passionate relief Support Workers, who drive, to join our incredible team in Rochdale and surrounding areas.
We are looking for a positive, caring, flexible, honest, trustworthy people with a can do attitude.
As a Support Worker, you'll have the opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of individuals with learning disabilities. You will be working with a diverse group of people, each with their own unique abilities and needs.
From assisting with daily activities to providing emotional support, personal care, health appointments, cooking, cleaning, promoting independence, you'll play a vital role in their life.
We have many services in Rochdale, Oldham and Halifax, mainly these are supported living services with staff 24 hours a day, seven days a week. Additionally we support a number of people that only require a few hours support a day.
What we're looking for:
· A genuine passion for supporting others.
· Excellent communication skills and the ability to build meaningful relationships.
· Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
· A positive and empathetic attitude towards individuals with learning disabilities.
This role requires you to be a driver.
Contract options:
· Relief
Shift times:
This services are mainly 24hr support. We prepare the rotas at least 4 weeks in advance so you can still plan your personal and social life!
· Days: Anytime between 08:00-22:00, sleep-ins. Each service has different hours to offer.
