As a Quantity Surveyor, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing the commercial aspects of projects from inception to completion. Your expertise will be instrumental in maximizing income, controlling expenditures, and ensuring contractual compliance. Responsibilities:

  • Conduct remeasurement of work packages to ensure accuracy and efficiency.


  • Prepare fortnightly applications for payment in accordance with contract terms.


  • Manage subcontractors' accounts and payments, fostering strong relationships.


  • Liaise effectively with client and design team members to facilitate project success.


  • Assess and submit compensation events in alignment with contractual obligations.


  • Prepare contractual correspondence and notifications with precision and timeliness.


  • Collaborate with site personnel to obtain site records and reconcile works claimed.


  • Provide guidance and mentorship to a graduate quantity surveyor in their duties.


  • Sign off weekly wages for price work teams, ensuring compliance and accuracy.


  • Negotiate compensation events with employers to achieve favourable outcomes.


  • Health and Safety Responsibilities:
  • Ensure compliance with company Health and Safety policies and statutory regulations.


  • Quality Responsibilities:
  • Verify that all payments to subcontractors are signed off by operational teams in adherence to company processes.


  • Ensure completion of all correspondence within contract timescales.

    HND Level or above in Quantity Surveying or related field.


  • Proven experience in a Quantity Surveyor role within either construction, civils or utilities industry.


  • Strong understanding of contractual agreements and regulations.


  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.


  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.


  • Commitment to quality, accuracy, and meeting deadlines.
