Full Job Description

We have an exciting opportunity for a Property Maintenance Project Coordinator/Planner to join our Property Services Team who work within our Contact Centre.

The purpose of this role is to support the Property Services management and repairs maintenance, Heating, Plumbing and Electrical teams to achieve key performance indicators and objectives, in line with the Association's policies and procedures.

The role

You will be joining a fast-paced environment and will be responsible for the co-ordination of operational resources to ensure efficient, customer focussed, cost effective services.

Coordinating complex works and projects in accordance with technical briefs, you will work proactively with key internal and external customers, contractors and suppliers achieving key performance indicators and objectives, in line with the Association's policies and procedures.

You will operate the scheduling system and co-ordinate the work programming to ensure maximum efficiency and you will communicate with customers resolving complex customer enquiries in relation to all aspects of repairs and maintenance.

This role will give you the opportunity to contribute to the definition/scoping and implementation of the electronic scheduling system and you will identify any system improvements and areas for future development. You will also identify performance trends, risks and opportunities to improve efficiency.

We are looking for a Planner or Coordinator with experience of working in a high pressure, fast paced environment, ideally within the Housing, or related, industry.

You will also have / be:

  • Demonstrable experience working in a customer focused environment


  • An effective communicator (verbal and written)


  • Advanced ICT skills with the ability to use Microsoft Office, including Word and Excel


  • The ability to plan and organise resources, confidently make decisions and work to agreed timescales /targets


  • Excellent problem-solving and organisational skills.


  • Project coordination experience or equivalent transferable skills


  • A basic understanding of building trades and processes associated with the trades


  • A valid driving licence and have access to a vehicle with appropriate vehicle insurance.

    £28,860.02 per annum


  • Extra day of annual leave for birthdays totalling 33 pro rata (inc. bank holidays). Annual leave also increases for every year of service up to 5 years totalling 38 days (inc bank hols)
