Project Accountant

From FP&A partners to our accounts payable teams, our finance and accounting department is responsible for providing high-quality services to our internal partners, business leads and external suppliers. Our Finance and Accounting department is instrumental in supporting our business with the information it needs to make strategic decisions enabling us to do what we do best., We are seeking a Project Accountant who will deliver finance improvement projects and contribute to an environment of continuous enhancement.

Play a crucial role in the seamless integration of newly acquired businesses into Hologic's financial framework. Providing accounting support to newly acquired entities including month end, balance sheet reconciliations and reporting packs. Working closely with local accounting teams to align the close process, policy and controls with our EMEA SSC.

What to expect

• Provide hands-on support to a wide array of finance improvement initiatives, honing the efficiency and effectiveness of the international finance team.


• Deliver accounting support to the acquired entities, providing account support to newly acquired entities including month end, balance sheet reconciliations and reporting packs


• Drive the development and oversight of the Continuous Improvement and IS enhancements project list, collaborating closely with the IS business analyst and finance personnel.


• Steer monthly project review meetings with the finance and IS teams, ensuring focused progress across diverse finance functions, including accounting, FP&A, tax, and treasury.


• Craft comprehensive project plans, identifying both internal and external resource requirements, and manage project trackers to guarantee the timely delivery of outcomes.


• Partner with finance, business, and IS teams to deliver IS enhancement projects within finance & accounting, balancing global standardization directives and local efficiency goals.


• Play a crucial role in the seamless integration of newly acquired businesses into Hologic's financial framework.


• Undertake ad hoc financial analysis projects, providing insightful analysis that illuminates key aspects of the P&L and Balance Sheet, supporting strategic decision-making.
  
  Proven experience implementing process improvements.


• Strong analytical skills, coupled with the capability to manage complex projects that span various financial disciplines.


• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, enabling effective collaboration with diverse teams.


• The capacity to navigate and enhance IS systems within a finance context, promoting efficiency and alignment with corporate standards.
