hello thank you for messaging us regarding this vacancy, and apologies for late response. The position is for delivery driver for Yardley wood pharmacy 401 highfield road, Birmingham, B14 4DU - Employee discount, If this is sounds like something that interests you, please message me and I will contact you over the phone, we have a substantial amount of offers so it will be first come first serve, looking to start this ideally tomorrow Monday 18th March 2024, however if the right person comes along I can utilise a driver from the other stores. With a few to start as soon as possible. We don't do cash in hand and paid as employee for time taken to do deliveries its minimum wage which is £10.42, you fill a timesheet daily and payment of wages is last working day of the month. Timescales range from 9am ish to 6pm ish. We will obviously try to make the timing civil ie if the delivery can be moved to next day or we aim to do all the deliveries in the afternoon. We off course cover the fuel.

Licence/Certification:
The delivery service is new to Yardley wood pharmacy, starting from zero deliveries, its picked up slowly but would eventually grow further as time goes on as we promote it to gain NEW patients, as time goes on.
To get an idea of the service we started at another pharmacy with zero deliveries and now ended up to 60-80 a day over years.
Im looking for someone extremely flexible and knowledgeable of the area. Some days it may be just half an hour a day, some days could be up to 3 hours a day, as we may have just one or 2 deliveries a day, the most we have had since taken over the pharmacy in august 20223 in a day was 16 which can be done in 2-3 hours maximum, we have a delivery van which is in repair at the moment, but would appreciate if they could use their own car in the interim.
The reason we looking for two drivers as we need to allocate them the day so one driver can do three days and one can do two days, they can swop days if needed and this way it ensures that the pharmacy will always have a driver, hours may be available in other branches located in Solihull as we want to be able to interchange staff, however if they do cover it's a full day which can range from 7-8.5 hours.
