    An excitingopportunity has arisen for an experienced, driven and dedicatedindividual to join our private patient services team. Basedat the Woodthorpe Hospital, the main objective of the role is toassist in growing the Self-Pay and Private Medically Insuredadmissions to defined targets for Woodthorpe Hospital. This is abusy and demanding role so candidates will need to be enthusiastic,highly motivated and have a flexible approach to their role toensure the needs of the service are met. They will have theflexibility to respond to requests from consultants and colleaguesand will be able to work under their own initiative. The role willreport to the Private Patient Manager and work with Consultants,Consultant Secretaries, Heads of Departments, Clinical andAdministration Teams. The working hours are 37.5 hours per weekwith flexibility, as required, to meet the needs of therole., Strong customerservice skills

  • Ability tomanage a portfolio of private patients from initial call toadmission

  • Sound computerskills using the MSOffice

  • Confident in engagingwith a variety ofpeople

  • Articulate, withexcellent communication skills in person, over the phone and inwriting

  • The highest standardof personalpresentation

  • Privatehealthcare experience -desirable

    TheWoodthorpe Hospital is a 42 bedded private hospital on 2 wardsoffering multi-speciality surgery for day cases and inpatients stayfor both private and NHS patients. It is a very busy Hospital withpatients seen by many different speciality consultants includingOrthopaedics, spinal, gynaecology, urology, gastroenterology,dermatology andENT.
