Full Job Description

We are seeking passionate team members to join us as a Production Operator here at Solenis based at our Bradford manufacturing site.
What you'll be doing as a Shift Production Operator
As a Production Operator, you will be an integral part of our team, reporting to the Duty Shift Manager. You'll work alongside a team of 7 other Operators in a bustling powder production environment. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Material Movement: You will be responsible for safely moving materials and finished goods in and around the production and warehousing area. Utilizing a Forklift Truck (FLT), you'll ensure efficient operations. Don't worry if you're not already qualified to drive an FLT - we provide training!


  • Health and Safety: As a champion of health and safety, you'll uphold our stringent H&S policies. You'll perform all duties in accordance with these policies and promote a culture of safety among your colleagues.


  • Equipment Inspection: Conduct daily inspections of production equipment to identify any anomalies or faults. Your attention to detail is crucial as you record inspections on inspection sheets and upload them onto our SAP System.


  • Quality Checks: You'll be involved in performing basic quality checks both on the production line and through bench testing. Your commitment to maintaining high-quality standards is essential to our success.

    Education: 3 GCSEs with passes in English, Math's, and a Science subject.

  • Experience: Previous experience in a manufacturing/production environment.

  • Skills: A Forklift Truck license/qualification would be advantageous - training will be given.

  • IT skills, including proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.). Experience with SAP software would be beneficial.

    This role involves working 2 days, followed by 2 nights, and then enjoying 4 days off to recharge and pursue your interests outside of work. Our dedicated Recruiter will provide you with full details of the shift patterns.
