Full Job Description
As Operations Support Manager, you will need to ensure operational excellence across the operational team by overseeing, and supporting the development of, efficient operational processes, facilitating effective training programs, and supporting team management and quality assurance.
The role provides a proactive approach to process optimisation, staff development, and compliance adherence within the operations team., Operational Excellence and Process Optimisation:
- Develop and refine operational processes to maximize efficiency, effectiveness and output.
- Monitor daily operations, ensuring consistency of delivery as well as compliance with established standards and procedures.
- Identify potential challenges, gaps or adverse trends in operational capacity, knowledge or workflows and propose and implement strategic solutions to mitigate them.
- Ensure that any intra-company or client enquiries relying on operational department response or input are executed efficiently and in accordance with company requirements.
- Collaborate with various departments to ensure that operational improvements are aligned with company-wide goals and strategies
- Collaborate with technical teams to design and deliver comprehensive training programs.
- Evaluate training needs through various feedback mechanisms and performance evaluations.
- Support the creation of training materials to meet the learning objectives of the operational team.
- Support the Head of Operations with line-management of operational staff, ensuring set performance objectives are met at a team and individual level.
- Support a culture of continuous improvement and professional growth within the team.
- Working with the Head of Operations and HR, deliver regular feedback and support to team members, fostering a collaborative and motivated work environment.
- Actively identify potential risks in operational processes and work with the team to develop mitigation strategies.
- Conduct regular audits and assessments to ensure all processes meet quality standards and regulatory requirements.
- Implement corrective measures to address any deviations from company processes, and subscribed standards.
- Regularly review team performance against set KPIs and objectives, providing feedback and developmental support to ensure goals are met
- Prepare and present reports on operational performance, training effectiveness, and process improvements.
- Utilise data analytics to derive and support insights, identifying opportunities for further enhancements.
- Management experience within a similar industry
