Full Job Description

By utilising your expertise/experience, you will contribute to the development and maintenance of positive customer relationships , whilst ensuring the smooth operation of our sales team

The role is full time Mon-Friday, 8.30am-5pm (40 hours per week), and is based at our

Head Office in Tuxford, Notts, NG22 0PQ.

Daily Responsibilities

- Working closely with the Sales Manager / Refractories Division

- Responding to customer enquiries, preparing quotes and processing orders with speed & accuracy - ideally responding to customers within 2-3 hours (or at least same day where possible)

- Answering phone calls within 3 rings

- Follow up calls to customers re quotes sent and answering any questions raised on a weekly basis

- Tracking orders and updating customers regards delivery status & order confirmations

- Liaising with other internal staff / warehouse to ensure smooth sales processes

- Monitoring of stock levels / alerting Management when materials need reordering

- Passing of leads / company & competitor information to Sales Manager to follow up

- Updating Cin7 with new contact information / changes to customer details - ongoing

- Creating / amending / keeping the Run List up to date daily/weekly to ensure timely deliveries

The ideal candidate should possess extensive experience in Customer Service and ideally some sales experience would be a distinct advantage. Experience in Refractories / High Temperature Insulation is desirable, however full training will be given.

Strong teamwork and interpersonal skills are essential for success in this role along with excellent multi-tasking and time management skills as there are ever-changing priorities in this fast paced position.

Excellent telephone manner and the ability to build excellent customer relationships is a must., Highly proactive / ability to work on own initiative.

- Daily requirement for inbound and outbound calls to customers/prospects/lapsed customers

- Experience in using CRM systems / attention to detail in keeping this up to date
