Nursery 3rd in charge

The key duties are: To teach children, offering an appropriate level of support and stimulation

• Be the 3rd in charge at the nursery working close with the nursery management team


• You will ensure every individual child's needs are met, including supporting parents with any SEND/ASL needs.


• Take ownership of the observation, assessments and planning for key children in line with EYFS and provide developmentally challenging next steps as well as supporting the staff team.


• Encourage and praise children's development and achievements whilst guiding, coaching, and managing our under 2's team of practitioners.
  
  Requirements of 3rd in charge - A passionate caring individual committed in delivering the highest quality child care


• Ability to lead a small team effectively


• 1 year+ post qualifying experience in a day care setting


• Excellent English written and communication skills


• A sound Knowledge and understanding of child development and the EYFS


• Ability to work on own initiative, Do you have a caring personality, are organised, and patient, with a 'can do' attitude? If so, we will be delighted to hear from you.
