Full Job Description

We are seeking a talented Methods Engineer to join our team. As an Engineer, you will work closely with all functions to oversee all aspects of Technical & Production operations including Foundry/Wax/Shell. You will manage all aspects of technical engineering relating to the casting manufacturing and champion new product implementation (NPI). You will control the tooling and the processes for new / modified tooling as efficiently as possible in a timely manner. The goal is to ensure that production processes deliver technical exacting products of maximum quality and technical compliance in a profitable manner.,

  • Lead, manage and drive continuous improvement in connection with product, process and people. Ensuring castings are produced in the most efficient and economical way whilst minimising scrap and rework cycles.

  • Design and develop systems and components based on project requirements

  • Ensure good communication is given either verbally or written to all members of the production team.

  • Problem solving - identify root causes and take action to resolve the problems. Solution focused with an urgency.

  • Colloborate with Sales, Quality and production staff regarding dimensional specifications and quality is aligned to the customer drawing & specification.

  • Submit reports as requested on performance and progress.

  • Attend production meetings in the absence of the Department Manager. Attend Design meetings for new products or modifications as required

  • Carry out investigations and analysis of non-conforming products. Identify issues in efficiency and suggest improvements

  • Utilize logic controllers, Simulink, SolidWorks, MATLAB, GD&T, Schematics, and other engineering tools to create innovative solutions

  • Create and maintain technical documentation for projects

  • Conduct testing and validation of systems to ensure performance and reliability

  • Provide technical support and guidance to team members

    Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field


  • - Proficient in system design, logic controllers, SolidWorks, CAD/CAM and other engineering tools

    - Strong mechanical knowledge and understanding of engineering principles

    - Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to perform root cause analysis

    - Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
