Full Job Description

We are seeking a passionate and experienced Menopause Specialist to join our team at our new clinic in Purley, Surrey on a self-employed contracted term. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in supporting patients during the menopause transition and other hormonal health conditions. We welcome candidates with sub-specialty expertise in areas such as Endometriosis, PCOS, PMDD/PMS, Psychosexual medicine and Infertility.

Responsibilities:

- Provide expert guidance and support to patients experiencing menopause transition and other hormonal health conditions.

- Conduct thorough assessments, develop personalised treatment plans, and monitor patient progress.

- Educate patients on managing symptoms, lifestyle adjustments, and available treatment options.

- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals within TMC to ensure comprehensive care and support for patients.

- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records and documentation.

- Stay abreast of the latest research, developments, and best practices in menopause transition and hormonal health management and hormonal health.

Qualified and registered healthcare professional with expertise in menopause management (e.g., General Practitioner, Gynaecologist, Endocrinologist, Nurse Specialist). Registered with the British Menopause Society.

- Sub-specialty expertise in areas such as Endometriosis, PCOS, PMDD/PMS, Infertility, Psychosexual medicine is desirable.

- Demonstrated experience in providing patient-centred care and support in menopause management.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with patients and colleagues.

- Self-motivated, proactive, and capable of working independently as well as part of a multidisciplinary team.

- Flexibility to work part-time initially (2 days a month) with the potential to increase hours and days as needed.

- Availability to work one Saturday morning a month.

- Desirable but not essential is a registered trainer with the Faculty of Sexual and Reproductive Healthcare (FSRH) and contribute to our Menopause Academy as a trainer.

- Desirable but not essential is an Interest in public speaking
