Full Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and organised experienced Medical Secretary to join our team. As a Medical Secretary, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our clinic. You will be responsible for providing administrative support to healthcare professionals and assisting with various office tasks. If you have excellent organisational skills and a strong attention to detail, we would love to hear from you., Greet patients and visitors in a professional and friendly manner
- Schedule appointments and manage the physician's calendar
- Answer phone calls and respond to inquiries or direct them to the appropriate staff member
- Maintain patient records and update information as necessary
- Prepare and process medical documents, including insurance forms and referrals
- Coordinate with other healthcare providers to ensure seamless patient care
- Handle billing and invoicing tasks, including verifying insurance coverage
- Assist with maintaining inventory of office supplies and ordering as needed
- Perform general administrative duties such as filing, faxing, and scanning documents

Previous experience as a Medical Secretary is essential
- Proficient in using office software such as Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Knowledge of medical terminology and procedures is an asset
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritise tasks effectively
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Attention to detail and accuracy in all aspects of work
