Mechanical Design Engineer Team Leader

PCE Automation are seeking a Team Leader Mechanical Design Engineer to join our growing and ambitious team, with the skills and experience to lead a multidiscipline team working on Automation Projects.

The post holder shall design innovative and progressive automation machinery, as well as lead a team of design engineers during the design phase of a project. Working alongside engineers and other industry professionals, to conceptualise, develop and enhance these solutions, whilst also contributing to the evolution of our processes.

• Leading a Team in a similar engineering role to deliver on time, on cost and to specification.


• Mechanical design/engineering experience within the automation industry.


• A minimum of an HNC/HND in Mechanical Engineering or a similar discipline.


• Highly proficient in 3D CAD (Ideally Solidworks) with experience designing for manufacture.


• Previous experience using Solidworks PDM or similar would be advantageous.
