Full Job Description

The role of Marketing Manager is responsible for managing all marketing activities to enhance Axter's brand position in the market; all content creation for the website, social media, press material and other marketing collateral; managing relationships with third party agencies; planning content and timelines for all projects.,

  • Manage all marketing activities to enhance our brand position in the market, ensuring all content and positioning truly reflects our vision and mission and highlights our offering to specific customers suitably creating a competitive advantage for the Company.

  • Manage all content creation for website, social media, email marketing, blogs, press articles/interviews and all other marketing collateral such as brochures, case studies, documents campaigns etc, ensuring that they align with Company branding and the achievement of Company goals.

  • Create and deliver information direct to our customer base, to entice and encourage them to explore our product offering, to increase the Company's profitability.

  • Manage agency relationships, ensuring that terms of business are adhered to and delivery is in line with the Company's expectations and requirements.

  • Track analytics to measure campaign performance to demonstrate the impact campaigns are having on sales and identify areas of improvement.

  • Plan and coordinate video content for digital platforms and other marketing channels which is engaging and targeted in the right areas.

  • Develop and manage a video strategy to drive higher engagement and deeper brand connection and to educate customers.

  • Manage assets - photos, videos, logos and other resources - and log and track marketing files, documents, presentations adhering to version control protocols to ensure the Company is consistent in their use of branded material, ensuring effective use of Company branding.

  • Occasional support for other marketing and communications activities with the aim to enhance the Company's marketing position to drive sales and improve the Company's profitability.

  • Provide support with Axter's sustainability, ethical and social responsibility programme to achieve the goal of positively impacting the environment, people and society.

  • The administration of the award submission process.

    Degree or equivalent in Marketing (degree in another subject will be accepted if applicant can show appropriate level of marketing career experience)

  • CIM Level 6 Diploma in Professional Marketing (this is not a requirement, but will be looked favourably upon, and the qualification will be offered to successful applicants who do not already have it should they wish to develop their skills)

  • Minimum 4 year's experience in a marketing role

  • Good knowledge of Axter's mission, vision and strategy

  • Experience in digital marketing, communications and customer engagement

  • Experience in CRM databases and marketing automation

  • An interest in our industry and an enthusiasm for our ethos and values, our sustainability and social responsibility programmes

  • Strong communicator, able to provide clarity and direction on marketing projects to colleagues and all stakeholders

  • Excellent organiser, aware of team projects, workloads and the next steps to plan

  • Enthusiasm to look at innovating processes and improving the way marketing supports the work of the team and how the team can contribute to the objectives of the marketing team

  • The motivation to learn and expand knowledge is also an important factor in this role

    Salary: £37,500 - £47,500 based on qualifications and experience
