IOPS (Intensive Older People's Service) provide additional, intensive support for a short period of time, to help service users in mental health crisis remain in their own home with as much autonomy and independence as possible. IOPS offer intensive support to service users with dementia of any age and service users over 75 years with functional mental health and physical health complexities.

IOPS are looking to recruit a conscientious, calm and confident individual to join our current Administration Team. This role will be supporting the Clinical Team Manager with management support as well as covering clinical admin when needed.
This role is offered on a permanent contract. The hours of work are 22.5 hours per week. DISCLOSURE AND BARRING SERVICE CHECK (formerly CRB)

Therefore, it will be your responsibility, if successful, to ensure that this is taken to the appointing officer as soon as you receive it.
Alternatively, if you have subscribed to the update service, we will be able to check your status once we have your authority to do so.
The Trust has now introduced a DBS Update Service which is a contractual requirement. You need to subscribe when you have applied for your DBS clearance and there is a time limit to subscribe of 19 days after receipt of your DBS disclosure. Please ensure that this is completed within the set time scale.
This update service is an annual subscription at a cost of £13 to you. This will enable the Trust to have instant online access to your DBS record, with your consent, and so will remove the need for you to have to apply for this repeat check again.

You must possess excellent time management skills, a positive approach and be able to remain calm under pressure. The successful candidate will need to have the ability to confidently and sensitively deal with telephone calls from individuals who may sometimes be distressed or upset.
Previous administration experience is essential. Full training will be given.
You will need to be able to demonstrate the strength of your communication, prioritisation and administration skills at the same time as showcasing your knowledge of IT systems. You will be able to evidence a flexible response to service needs and the ability to think creatively. Experience of working to deadlines, on your own initiative and maintaining confidentiality are also essential.
