Full Job Description

Supporting on the day-to-day financial aspects of key shopping Centres within the UK and held on the portfolios. Working within a team to deliver the necessary reporting for clients and reporting into Senior Management Accountant., Drafting the quarterly management accounts for review by the senior commercial accountant.

-Assisting with quarterly VAT and CIS returns.

-Liaising with property managers to ensure understanding of all property level transactions and the impact on the management accounts.

-Quarterly balance sheet reconciliations

-Monthly bank reconciliations

-Liaising with the auditors on full year-end audit of Partnership and separate Landlord assurance review.

-Responsibility for ledger entries.

-Providing ad-hoc analysis of management accounts - both quarterly and to business plan.

-Managing Accounts Payable and Sales ledgers including reconciling supplier accounts, issuing remittance advices, raising and issuing fee invoices to clients.

-Identification and resolution of potential areas to improve business processes.

Qualified/ Part Qualified or Qualified by Experience

-Knowledge of the property sector will be advantageous but not essential.

-Excellent communication and IT skills. Advanced Excel skills are essential, and SAGE 50 is preferable.
