Full Job Description

We are looking for a confident and outgoing Lunch Cover Nursery Practitioner to work in a wonderful nursery with an outstanding reputation in the local community and is in a prime location in Crosby, L23. This is a maternity cover role with the opportunity to potentially extend.
The hours are part-time, 15 hours per week and will be discussed as part of the application process. These hours would particularly suit someone looking for a part-time role around school drop-off and pick-ups.
Monday to Friday - 11.30am - 2.30pm
Your role will include:

  • Supervising and interacting with children between the ages of 6 months to four years old

  • Supporting the nursery team where required in implementation of activities to ensure children are having enjoyable and educational learning

    A Level 2 or 3 Certificate in Childcare is desirable but not essential. You will need to have relevant experience and knowledge of child development ideally in a nursery or teaching setting.

  • The setting is closed on all bank holidays, we also do not open on Christmas Eve!! The nursery closes over Christmas until the first working day in the New Year.
