Full Job Description

Southport College is looking for a Lecturer in Foundation Learning to join our teaching team on a part time (0.6) basis.

As a Lecturer in Foundation Learning, you will teach across a range of 16-18 courses from Entry to Level 1, including supported internships. You will work effectively with the Curriculum Leader and the Learning Support and Safeguarding Teams to ensure that our student's individual needs are met.

The main provision includes Connect (Entry 2), Aspire (Entry 3), Ambition (Level 1) and Supported Internships.

Educated to degree level or equivalent, you will possess a recognised teaching qualification or a willingness to undertake in-service training. Previous experience of working with learners with learning difficulties/disabilities is essential, whilst previous teaching experience is desirable.
