Full Job Description

  • To maintain the highest possible standards of customer service to students, staff and visitors.


  • To carry out instructions received from Assistant Cook/Chef Manager.


  • To complete basic food preparation & cooking e.g. sandwiches, salads, vegetables.


  • Wash dishes, cutlery, tumblers, jugs, serving utensils, containers, tables and all other catering equipment in the dining and service areas


  • To ensure food hygiene and health and safety regulations is adhered to at all times.

    Dyke House Academy are looking to appoint 2 Kitchen Assistants. The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate excellent catering and customer service skills.
