Our new IT Support Analyst will be responsible for ensuring the reliable running of the IT systems throughout Destination Sport Group through both proactive and reactive action. Provide technical support and technical project delivery to both the internal IT team and wider Business Stakeholders.

This is a varied & hands on role, as our new IT Support Engineer you will:

  • Work with our 7 sport companies within Destination Sport to ensure our Desktop estate across all sites is maintained. Resolve any incidents, problems or requests associated with the below or escalate if required:


  • Desktop / Laptop Builds

  • Azure Active Directory

  • Automated Software Deployment

  • Print Management

  • Office 365 / Exchange Online

  • Email / Web Filtering

  • Asset management

  • Network Patching

  • Remote Site Management

  • System Security


  • As an ISO27001, BS10012, ISO22301 and Cyber Essentials Plus accredited business you must always carry out your role according to company IT policies, working closely with the existing members of the team

  • Assist with the handling of confidential information by ensuring appropriate file permissions are set

  • Have an awareness & assist with our AD, AV & Microsoft 365 set-up by ensuring changes are as per company policy & comply with existing processes

  • Assist with user education including best practice & offering technical advice where appropriate

  • Check and be ready for disaster recovery or business continuity plans to be brought into action

  • Carry out critical checks that enable proactive action to prevent any significant failure

  • Act as a technical support to assist with Technical Project Delivery for both IT & business driven projects i.e rollout of new technical solutions, network links upgrades & branch moves

    Demonstrate enthusiasm for IT & IT products

  • Have previous working experience within a similar first line role

  • Possess a working knowledge of AV systems & their importance

  • Be a collaborative team member who is able to work as part of a wider team

  • Have the ability to provide friendly internal customer service even when under pressure

  • Have the ability to produce IT & process related documentation

  • Possess a basic understanding & knowledge of Windows Server, Azure AD & Microsoft 10 System Administration

  • Possess a basic understanding & knowledge of Office 365 with its administration & desktop imaging/ Autopilot

  • Have a basic understanding of IT risks and the importance of consulting/ escalating to more senior colleagues when if required


  • Highly desirable:
  • Business continuity awareness & how IT can play a crucial role

  • Experience working as part of a team on Technical Project Delivery

  • Experience with SharePoint Administration

  • Cloud technologies - a general understanding/ knowledge of Cloud Technology

  • ITIl Foundation or general knowledge of ITIL processes
