Full Job Description

Zurich is seeking a Portfolio Analyst with exceptional analytical skills and a commercial mindset to join our fast-paced insurance environment. Our Retail business has experienced substantial growth in our Delegated Authority (DA) and Managing General Agent (MGA) partnerships, and we need a talented individual to join our Portfolio Management team.
As a Portfolio Analyst, you will be responsible for identifying trends and providing insight to our key brokers and distribution partners. This is a market-facing role that offers the opportunity to make an immediate impact on the business. By using your analytical skills to assess opportunities within our Schemes portfolio, you will contribute to profitable growth within Zurich.

  • Play a key role in achieving our Scheme P&L targets by suggesting improvements to our pricing, underwriting, and proposition.

  • Gain expertise in analytical techniques and commercial insurance knowledge to provide regular insights and analysis from large datasets.

  • Stay updated on market developments, distribution channels, and our competitive position.

  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders of our DA/MGA propositions.

  • Contribute to fostering a positive, diverse, and supportive team culture.

    Excellent numerical and data manipulation skills.

  • Strong commercial acumen, capable of presenting to internal and external stakeholders.

  • Proficient in applying analytical techniques to extract meaningful trends and make recommendations.

  • Experience with coding (R, SQL) is a plus, but we are willing to provide support and training if you have the drive and dedication to learn.

  • Display a strong passion for learning and personal growth with strong communication skills.
