Full Job Description

  • Prepare and install additional specialist equipment in accordance with customer requirements

  • Assembly of large excavators

  • Working to technical drawings and schematics

  • Checking off parts in accordance with work orders

  • Inspection of customer machines ready for delivery

  • Undertake basic remedial repair painting

  • Fault finding and diagnostic/repair

  • General housekeeping

  • You will work towards a Level 3 Apprenticeship in Maintenance and Operations Engineering Technician Apprenticeship at Gateshead College

  • Weekly day release

    Communication skills, IT skills, Attention to detail, Organisation skills, Problem solving skills, Analytical skills, Team working, Flexible, Time management skills, GCSE or equivalent English (Grade Grade A - C/ 9 - 4) Essential
