We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated individual to join our team as a housekeeper on Charnwood Ward at Loughborough Hospital. The ward provides sub-acute care, palliative care and rehabilitation and is one of thirteen across seven sites which form the Trusts Inpatient Community Health Services division.

You will work your contracted 37.5 hours per week in two shift patterns, 08.00 - 16.00 or 11.00 - 19.00, five days per week, over a roster covering Monday to Sunday including bank holidays., Housekeepers are a vital part of our ward teams and aid the nursing and multidisciplinary team to deliver excellent patient care. This role includes but is not limited to -

Helping patients with their nutrition and hydration to include serving meals, assisting patients to feed themselves or feeding them.

Maintaining a clean, tidy and welcoming ward environment.

Sitting with patients who may require one to one support and supervision.

Managing stores and store rooms.

Working closely with the Ward Manager in maintaining and monitoring clinical and environmental standards including the use of audit tools.
