Hire Controller Trainee

Reporting to the Depot Manager, you will provide an efficient and effective service on the Hire Desk to assist the company to provide a high-quality service to our customers.

Your key responsibilities may include:

• Dealing with enquiries and converting them into hire business


• Responsible for receiving orders (On-hires) and requests for collections (Off-hires)


• Calculation and supply of quotes


• Daily preparation of hire paperwork


• Answering incoming calls
  
  Experience in a customer service role, preferable within a hire/sales environment


• A professional manner with good communication and people skills


• PC literate with experience of a wide range of computer systems


• Ability to prioritise work load and work to tight deadlines


• Local area knowledge for the depot areas served


• Motivated self-starter with good administration, time management and organisation skills, Our ideal applicant will be a team player with a flexible approach who is capable of prioritising a varied workload who would like to work for a well-established company.
