Higher Level Teaching Assistant (English)

Lutterworth College currently have an exciting opportunity for a dedicated practitioner to join the team as a Higher Level Teaching Assistant, supporting teaching staff with responsibility for the development and educational provision of learners., You'll be responsible for assisting with planning, preparation and delivery of lesson provision, both on a whole-class and individual basis, preparing resources to support learning activities as well as ensuring pupils are supported pastorally. You'll contribute to evaluating student progress and provide feedback to the class teacher to ensure all students' learning needs are being met., As a Higher Level Teaching Assistant within Lutterworth College, you'll be able to build upon your existing skillset within a supportive environment, with professional development and training opportunities available.

• A minimum of 3 GCSEs at C grade or above, including English and Maths


• To have HLTA status or be willing to work towards this with the support of the school


• Experience of class supervision and assisting with lesson provision to achieve positive learning outcomes


• Good written and verbal communication skills with the ability to work in tandem with teaching staff


• Ability to be empathetic and understanding to the needs of students
