Full Job Description

  • Shampoo and conditioner customers' hair

  • Maintain a clean salon

  • Provide refreshments to the customers

  • Reception duties

  • Prepare customers for the stylists to cut, tint hair etc.

  • As you develop skills you may be given the opportunity to style hair, apply tint and colour


  • The training you will be getting

  • The Apprenticeship training programme will last 18 - 24 months and you will progress towards achieving The Diploma for Hair Professionals (Hairdressing) Level 2 Apprenticeship standard with the opportunity to advance to the Senior Hair Professional Standard (Hairdressing) Level 3 Apprenticeship.

  • Training is at the salon

    Communication skills, Attention to detail, Organisation skills, Customer care skills, Team working, Creative, Initiative, Passionate, Ambitious, Hard working, GCSE or equivalent English (Grade 4) Desired

  • GCSE or equivalent Maths (Grade 4) Desired, Hairdressing professional

    Apprentices are paid for their normal working hours and training that's part of their apprenticeship (usually one day per week).
