Groundworks Site Manager

Overseeing all groundworks activities:

· This includes excavation, drainage, concreting, roads and sewers, foundation work, externals, and paving's.

Managing site staff and subcontractors:

· Ensuring all work is carried out to the highest standard and within the project timeline.

Health and Safety:

· Ensuring all work is carried out in accordance with health and safety regulations, and implementing company safety procedures.

Quality Control:

· Checking materials and workmanship, ensuring that all work meets the required standards.

Project Management:

· Coordinating with Client's Site Manager, architects, engineers, and clients to ensure the project runs smoothly.

Reporting:

· Keeping detailed records of work progress, issues, and reporting to senior management/quantity surveyor

· Excellent understanding of health and safety regulations

· Proven experience in a similar role in the construction industry

· Knowledge of groundworks processes and procedures

· Strong leadership and management skills

· Good communication and problem-solving skills

The following qualifications are desirable:

· Construction Site Supervisor Level 4 or HNC equivalent

· SMSTS / SSSTS

· CSCS Experienced Technical, Supervisor or Manager

· First Aid

· CPCS/NPORS plant tickets
