Install various types of flooring materials such as carpet, tile, vinyl, and hardwood
- Prepare surfaces for flooring installation by removing old flooring, cleaning, and leveling the area
- Measure and cut flooring materials to fit specific areas
- Adhere to blueprints or schematics for precise installation
- Repair or replace damaged flooring as needed
- Ensure all work meets safety and quality standards

- Knowledge of different types of flooring materials and installation techniques
- Ability to interpret blueprints or schematics
- Strong attention to detail and precision in work
- Physical stamina to lift heavy materials and work on knees for extended periods
