Full Job Description

Due to the implementation of new systems and increased reporting requirements, our Finance team needs someone to help build a brand new suite of dashboards and reports.

We need a proper 'Data Nerd' who has the confidence to look at all the data we have and turn it into clear and informative dashboards for our Senior Managers, Directors, and Board Members.

This is an opportunity to have a wide range of autonomy and trust to make a major impact and create work that will be seen by the key decision makers at our firm.

Your key responsibilities would be:

  • Building a reporting structure based upon the requirements given from management and other stakeholders.

  • Exporting data from our bespoke systems and compiling reports & dashboards as requested.

  • Maintaining these dashboards with up-to-date figures and possible projections.

  • Timely and accurate production of high-quality documentation, reporting and analysis.

  • Updating daily reconciliations, including bank reconciliations when required.

  • This is not a client-facing role, your main communications will be with your departmental colleagues and other stakeholders from across the firm.

  • High competence with data extraction and manipulation, using Microsoft Excel, Power BI or similar.

  • Insightful and analytical approach to data.

  • Ability to understand and assimilate different sources of data and complex information.

  • Willing to take responsibility for challenging existing processes.

  • Excellent attention to detail and proven accuracy skills.

Redmayne Bentley provides support for colleagues to achieve industry standard qualifications, if that is something they wish to do.

  • For someone who is keen to progress in this field, there will be developmental and coaching support provided for you to potentially progress into a more senior role in the future.

At Redmayne Bentley, our goal is to provide excellent personal investment services that enhance clients' wealth.

We are proud of the culture we have created and of our approach, which promotes open and effective communication, with lots of scope for collaborative working. You will often find managers and directors working at the desk alongside you.

We encourage everyone to get involved, so you will have lots of opportunities to put forward your own ideas, and build on your skills, knowledge, and experience.

As one of the UK's largest independent investment management and stockbroking firms, we are committed to building a modern and diverse workplace where our people are offered unique opportunities to learn, grow and develop across the financial sector.

Our friendly, inclusive and collaborative environment rewards hard work with generous perks and benefits, and we are genuinely committed to your wellbeing through our industry commended &You wellbeing framework.

Our future looks more exciting than ever, come and share it with us.
