In respect of this role the successful applicant will play a key role in the delivery of Directorate support to the senior leadership to deliver improved Outcomes for Children and Young People, working on agreed priorities as defined by the Director of Childrens Services. The post holder will enable the delivery of the business objectives across the Directorate, working in partnership with internal and external partners. As such, excellent communication skills are essential.

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience of managing systems and processes to provide high level support, and as such will need proven organisational skills to deliver action plans to tight deadlines.

This is a really exciting opportunity for an individual looking to develop their career and gain invaluable experience in the Children, Young People and Families Directorate. The skills, knowledge and experience gained from this position provide a good basis for further progression within the council.
