Full Job Description
As our Engineering Team Leader, you will support the Engineering team here at Pro-Pak, reporting into the Engineering Manager on-site. This role will oversee daily management of our on-site Maintenance Engineers on shift.
Your role will be to support the growth and strengthen our Malton based Engineering team.
Key Accountabilities:
- Continuous improvement experience, using a range of tools and techniques
- Safe systems of working, LOTO
- Permit control across site
- Working with an implemented PPM schedule alongside breakdown activity
- Delivering all operational mechanical and electrical support on site
- Finding efficiencies within the current workflow to increase output
- Lead and motivate the team and record work completion through set KPI's
- PPM and corrective work compliance
- Working closely with the Engineering Manager to assist in delivering broader site KPI's
- Manage external contractors on site out of hours.

- Builds a united team and first-class team capability
- Proven experience in leading and motivating a successful team ., Engineering-related qualification or relevant experience in an Engineering role within food manufacturing
- Strong technical knowledge and an aptitude for both Mechanical and Electrical Engineering
- Working knowledge of BRC standards and customer codes of practice
- Strong people management skills
- Working knowledge and use of CMMS systems
- Experience working in a LEAN manufacturing environment, using LEAN tools such as TMP
- Knowledge and understanding of OEE.

£50,400 salary - Core hours 4on,4off (6am-6pm)
