Full Job Description

Experts in our field since 1989, AVM Services are decontamination specialists operating commercially within the Capital Estates and Facilities department of Cambridge University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust.

We are offering an exciting opportunity for an experienced individual to join our team of Engineers delivering validation services to NHS Trusts located in East Anglia, London and the South East.

You will undertake validations, PPM and reactive maintenance on all types of decontamination equipment, act as a site specific contracted AP(D) and support the training team by delivering decontamination courses.

To be part of AVM's multi-disciplined team and should therefore be able to work as part of the team along with the ability to work alone.

Required to act as the Maintenance Person (sterilisers, washer disinfectors, Endoscope washers and Drying Cabinets), as defined by the Department of Health.

Required to carry out maintenance and breakdown tasks on various types of validation equipment.

Ensure that all work is carried out to the highest possible standard and at all times to work within the guidelines laid out in the AVM procedures manual so as to fulfil the Trust's overall objectives.

Provide accurate and timely information to the customers on the performance of their equipment.
