WHAT TO EXPECT

The EMC Domain within the organization is responsible for overseeing Electromagnetic Compatibility (EMC) requirements for our range of products and services.

We are now looking for a skilled leader, who enjoys coaching, mentoring, and developing teams to join us a Chapter Lead

In this role, the successful candidate will collaborate with other Chapter Leads across JLR, in an agile structure, to set the standards for their area. This role will afford the successful candidate the opportunity to influence strategic decisions for the business as well as ensuring quality and consistency across product delivery.

Key Accountabilities and Responsibilities

  • Influence strategic backlog and prioritization decisions in your area of expertise, supporting Chapter Heads to develop and maintain Technology and Capability Roadmaps, in collaboration with technical specialists.

  • Share insights, knowledge, industry practices and developments across the organization, facilitating knowledge sharing events through engagement of chapter members and stakeholders

  • Regular engagement with chapter members, support them to apply relevant skills & methods to their product delivery work

  • Collaborate with leadership team to reduce technical debt and modernize our engineering products.

  • Improve stability and resiliency of our products and batch processes.

  • Align chapter members across squads for optimal talent utilization and skill development.

  • Progress product delivery work through domain or group squad backlog items

  • Contribute to product squad ceremonies and PI planning

    Skilled in automotive EMC test and design methodology

  • You must have a good understanding of EMC programme management

  • You need a good basic knowledge of the latest automotive electronics technology

  • You must be able to help identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies.

  • You need a good basic level of Electronic Engineering
