Full Job Description

  • Build electrical control panels whilst following the relevant schematic wiring diagrams, general arrangements and bills of material.

  • Liaise with the design team, test engineers and stock team.

  • Establish quality production by following industry standards, procedures, established methods of construction and installation using the appropriate tools.

  • Use of hand tools such as cable crimpers, strippers, cutters etc.

  • Communicate effectively with other departments.

  • Work efficiently and effectively as part of a team.

  • To be communicative between Team Leaders.

  • Ability to organize and priorities workloads.

  • Be adaptable and flexible in your approach to work.

  • Keep work area clean and tidy.

    You will join a rapidly expanding people orientated business and be part of a motivated team manufacturing Motor Control Panels, HVAC and BMS Control Panels in addition developing skills to be totally flexible within the company. You will undertake a Level 2 Engineering operative apprenticeship - electrical pathway., Communication skills, IT skills, Attention to detail, Organisation skills, Problem solving skills, Number skills, Analytical skills, Logical, Team working, Initiative, Patience, GCSE or equivalent English (Grade 4) Desired

  • GCSE or equivalent Maths (Grade 4) Desired, This role will involve lifting and carrying weights up to circa 25kg. Work overtime as and when reasonably requested.
